Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, the products must be returned unused, and in their original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. These costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Customers are to repackage the products securely in a suitable cardboard box, ensuring that the goods do not sustain damage during transport. Include a copy of your invoice with the return.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The customer is responsible for all courier fees associated with exchanges, including both return shipping of the original item and shipping of the replacement item.

Refunds

Goods and services are provided on a best-effort basis. If a product or service becomes unavailable, the Provider will issue a full refund within 30 days. Clients who cancel their orders will be charged a 10% administration fee.

The Provider retains the right to cancel an order, even after payment is received, if there's insufficient stock or if the product quality doesn't meet their standards. In such cases, the User will receive a full refund.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your credit card or bank account between 10 - 30 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Defective Goods

If your product becomes defective, please email info@mcghoors.co.za for assistance and we will determine whether we can arrange a repair, replacement or refund.

Please note that determining the exact cause of damage or defects may require further evaluation. To ensure the most appropriate resolution (repair, replacement, or refund), the product may need to be sent to the manufacturer or an authorized service center for technical assessment.

We will provide you with an update and proceed with the agreed-upon resolution.

The manufacturer will determine if your claim is valid and decide on the appropriate course of action, which may include repair or replacement.

If the goods become defective once the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, we can arrange with the manufacturer or its agents to repair them. No repairs will be done without you approving a quotation first.
